Statue of Liberty
It is a huge neoclassical sculpture located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, New York City, USA. This sculpture is a gift from the people of France. The Goddess of Liberty holds a 12-meter high torch symbolizing freedom in her right hand. In her left hand, she holds the bookplate symbolizing the American Declaration of Independence. One of her feet is strewn with broken chains, while the other is raised in the shape of a march. It symbolizes the figure of the American people marching forward after breaking free from their chains.
